Boa Vista Orchards – Cherry Days

We have a local gem just 45 minutes away, nestled in the foothills of the Sierras, called Apple Hill. This co-op of 50 farms is a destination location for locals and visitors alike. What started with just a few apple orchards in 1964 has grown to encompass a variety of fruits, vegetables, bakeshops, wineries, Christmas tree farms, and more! The harvest season sees the largest crowd, offering every kind of fresh baked goods, tree-ripened fruits, and activities you can imagine.

One farm in particular, Boa Vista Orchards, has greatly increased its steady flow of visitors leading up to the harvest season with innovative flavor infused events based solely on what fruits are ready to be picked. These theme events include strawberry, cherry, lavender, blueberry, peach and more!

We decided to adventure up the hill for the recent seasonal fruit event – Cherry Days.
